NRA Basic Course

NRA Basic Courses ATP sponsors many NRA basic firearms courses. These· NRA courses are designed for the new gun owner or the person who wants to gain basic knowledge about firearms and there operation. You will also learn basic shooting skills. The ultimate goal of these courses is to teach the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a firearm safely.

Any person of good character who can legally purchase or own a firearm can attend these classes. We currently offer the classes listed below:

• Basic Pistol

• Basic Rifle

• Basic Shotgun

• Home firearm Safety

• Personal Protection Inside the Home

• Personal Protection Outside the Home

• Range Safety officer

• Instructor Course
